I’ve been there myself and I used to get so convinced by all of the business webinars that I was even convinced on a couple of occasions that I needed to start a social media marketing agency and spend all day on sales calls with people.

I kind of accidentally fell into the world of online businesses.
I used to be an IT teacher, but we moved to a new location and I had given up work to be at home full time with my babies. While I was pregnant, one of my friends suggested I started a business selling posters.
I had no problems setting up my website but the next problem was that I had no visitors to my website, so I had to go and learn the best ways to get traffic to your website.
From here I fell into the world of blogging and fell in love with it. I started a new health blog and I wrote new blog posts every day.
I was so excited that 1-2 strangers started to find my blog posts every day.
After 6 months of getting minimal traffic to my blog, I started to get a bit frustrated that my traffic wasn’t really growing and I thought about all of the work I’d done to help people and yet I didn’t appear to be helping anyone.
I have no idea how I found it, but I stumbled into the world of manifestation. I found the concept so exciting and I knew it was the missing piece of the puzzle for me.
I added some new manifestation routines into my daily routine and almost instantly I noticed a 10X boost to the amount of visitors I was getting to my website.
From that point my traffic just kept increasing and I often had 10,000 to 20,000 page views per day.
Looking back at my stats, I can see that since I started this blog I’ve had over 28 million page views.
So I have more than surpassed my goals of reaching millions and helping millions of people and I have been rewarded very well for my efforts.
However, I’d love to say that this was how the story ended but unfortunately a few years later my traffic took a dramatic downturn and I lost most of the daily traffic I was getting.
I truly believe it was because I had stopped believing in myself, my business, and my success. I stopped using my manifestation techniques that kept my belief system in the right place and had replaced my belief with disbelief in the form of fear, worry, and overwhelm.
It was at this point in my journey that I started buying every course under the sun, listening to every webinar and implementing every new business strategy that was presented to me.
All of this didn’t help, and I carried on like this for years with my business constantly declining.
Finally I got a grip of myself and brought myself back to the thing that worked all along which is having a rock solid belief system.

I actually got some of my biggest business increases while I was flat on my back with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. But during this time my belief system was still rock solid.
A lot of people think that successful business owners just get lucky, but I call this a manifestation of a belief system. I’ve had many of these so-called lucky breaks, and they only ever came when I believed in my own success first. I never had any lucky breaks when I was overwhelmed, moaning, and in a state of constant fear.
Now that I know how important your belief system is and that it is basically everything when it comes to your success. If you don’t believe you will be successful, you won’t. It’s as simple as that.
