Difference Between A Manifestation Milestones Board And A Vision Board

A vision board is usually made up of mostly images.  These images are things that you want to manifest in the future such as a bigger house, travelling round the world, a new partner etc.  It is great for things that are very visual in nature.  The purpose of a vision board is to feel feelings of gratitude when you look at the images that you want to manifest.  Gratitude brings your visions into reality.  

I have another post that shows you how to create a vision board if you’ve never done this.  Creating a vision board is a lot of fun.

But a manifestation milestones board is totally different from a vision board and serves a totally different purpose.  

A manifestation milestones board is a board that contains mainly text. The text is a description of the milestones that you have already manifested for your business.  The purpose of a manifestation milestones board is to feel gratitude for the things that you have already manifested so you can manifest the next milestones for your business.

A vision board is based on things that haven’t happened yet that you want to happen in the future, and a manifestation milestones board is based on things that have already happened that you can celebrate right now.

Today I’m showing you how to create your own manifestation milestones board.

Scientific Benefits Of Creating A Manifestation Board For Business

Do you want to know what is the secret to manifesting business success?

It is to BE successful. 

So how do you become successful with a business that doesn’t yet have the results you want? 

Do you have one social media follower?  You have results that you can now celebrate.  Have you taken any action towards your business?  Have you started a social media account?  Have you written one social media post?  

If you haven’t taken any action at all, starting a social media account and making one post is something you can do today, right now.  There is nothing stopping you from having success in your business.  

And when you have achieved something – anything at all.  You need to celebrate this achievement like you have done the most amazing thing ever.  Because you have. 

All success is built on taking just one step at a time.  No business has overnight success.  All business success is based on taking one small action at a time, and the compound effect will give you the results of your wildest dreams. 

To attract more and more success to you, you need to acknowledge and celebrate your existing successes in such a way that your brain now sees you as successful. 

You have to recognize your successes at the same time as feeling emotions of excitement, success, mastery, and triumph. 

So how do you do this practically? 

By using a Manifestation Milestones Board. 

Do you know that every time you tick off items that you’ve done or achieved on a to do list you release dopamine in your brain that makes you feel fantastic. 

This effect is amplified to a much higher level by using a Manifestation Milestones Board. 

Every time you feel successful in your business, you are literally creating a new neural pathway in your brain.  

Once your brain is wired for success, you will attract more and more success to you.  It is inevitable. 

So creating a large amount of opportunities to see yourself as successful is critical for the success of your business. 

How To Make A Manifestation Board For Business

Here’s the basic way to create a manifestation board for business. 

What You Need For A Manifestation Milestones Board

• Cork board or notice board that allows you to add new notes to it.  (I used a 24”X17” board like this one.)  

•  Some squares of paper, or post-it notes.  I really like these. 

• At least 100 pins for your cork board. I like these pretty wooden push pins.

• A pen

Instructions

What you do is write down each of your achievements, milestones met and manifestations that you’ve already reached on a small piece of paper or note and pin them to the board. 

When you reach one of your milestones such as getting 1 social media follower on Instagram, you add the achievement to your Manifestation Milestones board and congratulate yourself. 

It is a really simple process and very easy to do, yet it is extremely powerful for your mindset and helps you to manifest more into your business.

I do this myself and I SO look forward to adding new achievements to my board.  It really motivates me to continue to take action towards my goals. 

List Of Example Milestones Met

You might be wondering what types of milestones you could add to your board?  

I am now going to give you a list of example milestones that you can use to get ideas for your own board. 

I have separated this list into 2 different sections. 

Milestones met that you DON’T have control over, and milestones met that you DO have control over. 

Milestones You DON’T Control

Here is a list of some example milestones that you DON’T have control over that you can add to your board.  I call these Gratitude Goals.  

Gratitude Goals are goals that you can be grateful for because you don’t directly control them.

• The number of customers you have ever had
• The amount of revenue you have made in total
• The number of Youtube followers you have
• The number of podcast downloads you have
• The number of visitors to your website in total
• The number of page views to your website in total
• The number of email subscribers you have
• The number of Instagram followers you have
• The number of Facebook likes you have
• The number of Pinterest followers you have

Milestones You DO Control

Out of the milestones you DO control.  There are two different types of goals that you DO control. 

1. Giving Goals are things that you have created for your business to help your customer. 
2. Growing Goals are personal development goals such as mindset shifts you’ve had or new skills you’ve learned. 

Here is a list of some example milestones that you DO have control over that you can add to your board.

Giving Goals

• Planned my first course
• Created my first course
• Wrote my first book
• Edited my first book
• Published my first book
• Planned my first coaching program
• Created my first coaching program
• Held my first coaching call

Growing Goals

• Stopping caring what other people think of me
• Learned how to do video editing
• Got certified in Reiki healing
• Overcame my fear of public speaking
• Improved my relationship with money

How To Make A Vision Board For Your Milestones

The best thing about my free pack is that you can use it to create both a manifestation milestones board AND a vision board.

For enhanced manifestation we really need to use both types of boards. 

The problem with only using a vision board is that you never get to recognize and celebrate the things that you actually manifested. 

And the problem with only using a milestones manifestation board is that you don’t have a place for adding things you want to manifest in the future. 

I suggest making 2 types of boards.  I call my vision board a Goals Intended board as I think it is a more suitable name for this purpose. 

Here’s how you create a Goals Intended Board. 

Get another cork board, or use different sides of the same board.  This is your goals board.  This is for holding your intentions – milestones you are working towards. 

What you do is you decide which milestones you are currently working towards next and add those to your Goals Board. 

When you have manifested one of your goals, you move it from the Goals Boards to the Manifestation Milestones Board and congratulate yourself. 

In my FREE pack, I have created titles for both boards.  Start by adding your next milestones to your goals board, and when you have manifested them, move them to the manifestation milestones board. 

I like to do this routine at least once a month if not more. 

The milestone cards that I have created also have a space for writing on the date that you manifested the milestone.  So you will always be able to look back and see when you manifested each milestone which is really exciting. 

I also have little headings for two different types of goals on the milestone cards. 

The goals that you don’t control have the words “I am so grateful for” at the top of this card.  As an example, the card would then read “I am so grateful for 100 Instagram followers”.  When you stick that card to your manifestation board, try and feel the feelings of gratitude because this will help you to manifest the next milestone of 200 followers. 

The goals that you do control have different text at the top.  They say “I’m so proud of myself” followed by the milestone you met.  For example, it might say “I’m so proud of myself. I created my first course.”  When you stick this type of milestone on your board, try and feel the feelings of achievement, self-love, and self-respect. This will help you achieve more of these milestones that you need to put your own effort and action towards.
